1. One of ways of fight against weeds the shelter of ridges or even enough big platforms is considered the continuous ukryvny material which is doing not pass light. Such method is used at strong contamination of the site by long-term kornevishchny weeds: wheat grass, dandelions, nettle, sow-thistle, yarrow, horsetail. How to carry out it? However in practice use materials in which at the dacha there is no shortcoming, - mowed lawn grass, the chopped weeds, sawdust, straw, peat. The layer of mulch not only constrains development of weeds (under it darkly), but also perfectly keeps moisture in the soil that is especially important for droughty summer and the southern areas.
3. The condensed crops of cultures can be considered as one more way. I.e. on bed the main culture is at the same time sowed, and be near - additional. For example, tomatoes - salad, fennel; late cabbage - spinach, parsley; carrots - garden radish, salad, etc. Such method allows to involve in addition free sites of bed and not to allow to develop on them to weeds.
4. The real problem is created by weeds on lawn. And solution - in the correct preparation of the soil under seeding of lawn grass. As most of summer residents arrives: have delivered soil, have leveled and have immediately sowed grass. By the end of summer of grass it is not visible behind the earing weeds... What shall I do?
