- For way No. 1: sheet of paper, tape measure.
- For way No. 2: pencil, tape measure and assistant.
- For way No. 3: the balloon filled with helium, long strong cord, tape measure and the assistant.
Instruction
1. Way No. 1. To put triangle from the square sheet of paper. Holding it before itself so that one leg was horizontally, and another at an angle 90 °, it is necessary to depart from the measured object so far that the top point of triangle was combined with tree top (or, suppose, with roof ridge if we measure house height). Having achieved the necessary provision of point, we note tag the place of our situation on the earth. Having added height of your growth to this point, it is possible to establish the necessary height of tree absolutely already precisely.
2. Way 2. Depart from tree on some distance so that the pencil in outstretched arm tip of edge coincided with tree top, and pencil bottom - with the tree trunk basis. Unroll pencil horizontally so that the pencil bottom still corresponded to the place where the tree touches the earth, and the edge indicated certain point on the earth.
