To grow up worthy harvest of tomatoes, to look after important not competently plants, but also during planting of seedling it is correct to calculate how many saplings can be planted to the greenhouse of certain size. With accuracy nobody will tell how many tomato can be planted to the specific greenhouse, the quantity depends on several factors:
- what grades are used for landing;
- what width of beds in design;
- whether is in the greenhouse of path and how many them.
On the majority of bags of seeds it is specified how many plants need to be planted on square meter of bed, however not each gardener pays to it attention. It should be noted that for determinant grades optimum landing - two bushes on square meter, for indeterminantny - three bushes on square meter. When landing it is important to subtract furrows and paths which are in the greenhouse, and after it to count how many saplings to plant to the greenhouse of certain size.
For example, to the greenhouse 4х3 it is possible to plant 36 bushes of indeterminantny grades and 24 - determinant, to the greenhouse 6х3 - 54 bushes of indeterminantny grades and 36 - determinant, to the greenhouse 8х3 - 72 bushes of indeterminantny grades and 54 - determinant. If when landing both grades in equal quantities are used, then to the greenhouse 4х3 it is necessary to plant no more than 30 bushes, 6х3 - no more than 45, 8х3 - no more than 63.
It should be noted that information is given without deduction of furrows and paths above therefore when landing it it is necessary to consider and plant less saplings. Non-compliance with these conditions can affect productivity of cultures further. The fact is that the expanded saplings will not allow air to circulate freely in the greenhouse that can lead to defeat of tomatoes fungal diseases, and light will not be simple to be enough for plants.
