Any construction does not do without application of cement slurry. The correct grout mixing causes durability of those designs which will be erected with its participation. By its preparation the main question consists in selection of acceptable proportions of components and their quantity for preparation of the required volume.
Compounding for grout mixing
The cement slurry represents mix from limited amount of ingredients: cement, sand, water. For preparation of concrete still gravel or crushed stone, for plastering – slaked lime are added. Proportions of components depend on assignment of solution and the required brand. Therefore to define how many it is necessary the same cement for preparation of one cube of solution, follows taking into account grade of the used cement demanded quality of solution, its assignment and condition of components which will be used.
High-quality plastering of walls is carried out in three layers, at the same time the cement slurry of M75, M50, M25 brands is used. Types of solutions on durability, so M75 stronger differ, in it there is less sand more in cement percentage. Cement of M400-D0 brand is most often used, and for it the compounding will be provided.
M75 mixing of mortar
For preparation of 1 m cubic it will be required: - 190 kg of cement; - The 105th limes of "Slaked lime"; - 1548 kg of sand with size of grain up to 2 mm; - 320 liters of potable water. The indispensable condition for preparation of any solution and observance of compounding is due condition of all components. Sand has to be dry if it not so, then it is necessary to dry it or to consider its humidity and, respectively, to lower amount of water and also to consider the weight of the moisture which is contained in sand when weighing components.
Naturally cement has to be bone-dry and without lumps. It is the best of all if the cement compressed in fist flows through fingers if it is pressed in lump, then at all it is better not to use such cement.
M50 mixing of mortar
For preparation of 1 m cubic it will be required: - 145 kg of cement; - 124 kg of lime of "Slaked lime"; - 1595 kg of sand with size of grain up to 1.5 mm; - 310 liters of potable water. Solution of average strength. Such it is the best of all to use for repair and recovery work when it is necessary to close up the main part of damages to old plaster coats.
M25 mixing of mortar
For preparation of 1 m cubic it will be required: - 100 kg of cement; - 110 kg of Slaked lime lime; - Sand with grain it is less than 1 mm of 1630; - 310 liters of water. The poorest solution. Is suitable for the finishing plaster coat and for seal of small damages at recovery work.
Solution for brickwork
Preparation of one cube of masonry mortar of M25: - 325 kg of cement; - 2000 kg of sand with grain to 2.5 mm (it is better river, than ravine); - 350 liters of water.
For preparation of masonry mortar hydrate lime, only cement, sand and water is not used. If necessary softeners as for concrete are added.
