The minimalism as separate style has arisen for a long time and enjoys wide popularity among modern people. Corresponding to the name, the minimalism rejects all superfluous, giving necessary freedom.
The minimalistic style seems to some people sad and heartless, but for many it becomes the only way to get rid of unnecessary things and of narrowness. The interior, free from excess parts, will turn the dwelling into the place where the modern person can have a rest from vanity and restore forces.
Features of minimalism:
1. The most free space. For achievement it effect is whenever possible removed by all excess partitions, massive doors replace with spacious arches, window openings also expand. From furniture leave only necessary minimum.

4. Accurate correct geometrical forms. The minimalism is famous for faultlessness of lines, symmetry and ideal proportions. Clearness of lines is traced not only in furniture, but also in decoration of the walls and ceiling. They have to have light shade and smooth surface, figured volume jewelry will not be appropriate.
5. Natural materials. In design of this style direction are used: the chromeplated steel, glass, plastic, ceramics, artificial and natural stone, impressive tree.
6. Total absence of small decor. The minimalist interior does not provide storage of sentimental trifles. But that the room did not look absolutely sad, it is possible to dilute it in flowers (for example, succulents), one bright semantic picture or portrait. As the minimalism has the Japanese roots, the room can also be decorated with bonsai, paper fan or ikebana. The main thing that it was not enough similar decor.
7. Versatile lighting. Light has to be much. This, first of all, natural lighting which is created thanks to wide windows and also lighting from various lighting equipment. The hidden, built-in lighting in ceiling and in some pieces of furniture is combined with laconic chandeliers and floor floor lamps.
It should be noted that the style minimalism does not suffer chaos and disorder therefore it will suit more business people and pedants.
