- - set of hexagonal wrenches;
- - flat and crosswise screw-drivers;
- - graphite lubricant;
- - barrel with compressed air;
- - rubber door sealant
Instruction
1. If door on guarantee, contact the seller who is obliged to fix problem free of charge. Starting independent repair of metal door, attentively examine it. Define the place and the cause of scratch. Remember that often the unpleasant sound is made by the hidden adjustable loops.
2. Prepare set of hexagonal wrenches, flat and crosswise screw-drivers. If the sound proceeds from friction of cloth of door, weaken at first averages, and then, depending on the place of emergence of scratch, the top or lower loops. Delay to box or move door cloth, tightening nuts at extreme loops. Slightly to poshatayta, open and close door with the lowered handle.
3. Listen, defining possible noise or scratches. If they have not disappeared or have amplified, repeat adjustment anew. Having eliminated fault, twirl all fastening elements of iron door. If between box and cloth there were small gaps, apply thin film of graphite lubricant on door face.
4. The dust which has got to them because of the construction or repair work which is carried out in the house can become the reason of scratch of door hinges. Blow hinges by means of barrel with compressed air and apply on them lubricant.
5. Take care of noise isolation of the flat metal door which is passing cold, drafts or sounds outside of the room. Use thin and soft rubber sealant which will not create obstacles to closing of door. Distribute it between box and cloth in places of leaky contact of elements, but not on all perimeter of door.
6. Wishing to prolong life cycle of steel shutter, you watch its exterior. Periodically grease locks and loops, tighten fastening elements, replace the worn-out sealants and remove dust from crossbars.
