More often in interior works the designers use instead of wall-paper and decorative coats different types of paint and varnish enamels. The variety of technologies of coloring allows to decorate ceilings and walls with the original drawing. One of the most interesting ways of finishing of surfaces is use of textural paints.
It is required to you
- - scrap of board or thick cardboard;
- - scraper;
- - acrylic putty;
- - primer;
- - textural paint;
- - palette;
- - structural roller;
- - ditch for paint.
Instruction
1. Clean wall surface from dust and dirt. Remove with scraper all remains of the previous covering. The wall should not shallow.
2. Close up acrylic putty all small roughnesses and chips which have remained from former finishing. Leave to dry for 24 hours.
3. Process wall surface primer and let's dry up. Preliminary works are necessary as textural paints demand very good coupling with surface, otherwise can be coated cracks and begin to fall off.
4. Before starting finishing of walls, carry out tests of paint on piece of cardboard or scrap of board. It will help you to be trained with work with the roller and to define that the color is picked up correctly.
5. Well mix paint in bank. It needs to be made because the texturing additives in the course of storage fall by bottom. Further when putting paint on walls the covering can differ on different sites in texture or color.
6. Pour out the necessary volume of paint in ditch. If paint too dense it can be parted with small amount of water (about 4% of total amount).
7. You apply paint with the special structural roller. In shops the wide choice of various rollers with different surfaces is offered. Consider that large rough textures well look in big squares or during the external front works. For finishing of small rooms of type of the bathroom or the hall it is better to choose rollers with fine-grained or smooth texture.
8. Try to work so that for one pass to cover one wall. Do not take break in work. Textural paints are pretty fast plasticized, and the type of surface changes further during the work as the same roller.
9. If necessary periodically wash the textural roller with water.
10. Leave the processed surface to dry. Paint dries in 5-6 hours at temperature of +20 Pages. Full drying of paint happens in 24 hours.
