The situation when even the most quality powders do not cope with removal of spots on cotton fabrics is familiar to each hostess. Quite often light linen loses dazzling whiteness, turns yellow and becomes grayish. Correctly to bleach any given thing, it is required to know some rules and receptions which will allow to return to products original snow-white state.
It is required to you
- - bleach;
- - amplifier of laundry detergent;
- - means "Whiteness";
- - ammonia solution;
- - turpentine.
Instruction
1. That after any washing the white things from cotton did not get grayish shade, surely erase them separately from light and color products. Moreover, things from cotton are subject to washing separately from synthetic and woolen fabrics.
2. When washing cotton in the washing machine add the special amplifier or powder bleach to normal powder. At the same time be attentive and study the instruction on packing of means as not each bleaching means is suitable for use in the automatic mode of washing.
3. If near at hand there is no powder bleach and also when you are afraid to spoil product, use boiling of linen with addition of the bleaching means on the basis of hypochlorite of the sodium having the trade name "Whiteness". Such way was widely applied to washing and bleaching of cotton fabrics several decades ago.
4. In the absence of the ready bleaching structure mix 0.5 kg of bleaching powder and as much soda ash, having dissolved mix in ten liters of water. Let solution stand two days then filter. In such solution you boil products from cotton not less than two hours. Consider at the same time that this method of bleaching leads to fast wear of fabric.
5. For more careful bleaching of cotton with hot water add several grains of potassium permanganate that water has only slightly turned pink to bucket. Pour into solution also 150-250 g of laundry detergent. Place previously washed product in bucket, from above cover with piece of polyethylene film and wait until water cools down. Then carefully rinse the thing processed in such a way.
6. Qualitatively to bleach product from cotton, several hours prior to washing kill him in water with addition of small amount of ammonia solution. Such mix softens water a little and will not allow linen to turn yellow. If things are very seriously polluted, add two or three spoons of turpentine to structure.
