1. If strings of yarn old have also gained darkish color, it is necessary to make of them hanks and to tie up poorly in several places light cotton thread. After that wash them in warm water with soap solution. It is not recommended to erase yarn the washing synthetic means. It is for this purpose better to make shaving of laundry soap and to fill in with small amount of hot water. Dilute with warm water and shake up foam.

2. To make lighter of color or dark yarn, it needs to be clarified by means of bleach or children's soap, it is the easiest and fast way which will not be able to damage wool. Lower wet hank of threads in warm water with soap and, gradually heating it, boil within 20-30 minutes. At the same time do not forget to overturn threads continuously. If solution becomes dark, it is desirable to merge it and to replace new.

3. One of the most effective remedies for yarn bleaching – sodium hydrosulphite. It needs to be used in such ratio: one tablespoon on seven liters of water. Dissolve previously powder in small amount of warm water and pour in it in ware for bleaching. Submerge woolen hank in solution and densely cover, leave for 25-30 minutes. Periodically overturn product special nippers or the mixer. If water has strongly cooled down, warm up tank together with wool up to the original temperature. After that carefully rinse wool in warm water until the smell disappears. During the last rinsing add a little cleaning agent for wool, wring out and spread for final drying.

4. 30% solution of hydrogen peroxide will help to bleach wool, but this process more long, lasts of about 5-9 o'clock. Dissolve 10 ml of hydrogen peroxide in one liter of water, submerge in advance wetted and soaped yarn in this solution. Periodically warm up water during bleaching. After that carefully rinse and you dry under natural conditions, avoid direct sunshine.
