Instruction
1. Determine the sizes of the slag stones used by you. The standard block has the sizes of 390х190х188 mm. Also peregorodochny slag stone can meet the sizes of 390х120х188 mm. If you use other standard or produce this construction material, make preliminary measurements of product.
2. Define method of laying of slag stones at construction of wall of construction. From how you arrange stone in laying, wall thickness and, respectively, material consumption will depend. For you that edge of the block which will be external at construction of wall as its sizes will directly influence material consumption matters.
3. Let's say you intend to build wall in the half-block. Calculate the area of wide edge of the block. For this purpose increase block length by width, for example, of 390х190 mm. You receive 74100 sq. mm or about 0, 074 sq.m.
4. To calculate consumption of slag stones on one square meter of wall, separate unit into the received result expressed in square meters: 1 / 0.074 = 13.51. Having rounded value, you receive 14. So many blocks will be required to you for construction of one square meter of wall of construction.
5. Let's say you intend to lay out from slag stones garage with sizes of 5х7 m and 2.5 m high. Calculate perimeter of construction having put its length and width and having increased this value by two. You receive: (5 + 7) x 2 = 24 m. Now find the area of walls, having increased perimeter by garage height: 24 x 2.5 = 60 sq.m. Take away the area of gate which, for example, will be from this size: 3.2 x 2.5 = 8.75 sq.m. As a result you receive result of 51.25 sq.m. that makes the area of all walls of garage.
6. Considering the number of blocks falling on 1 sq.m of construction, calculate the required material consumption. For this purpose 51.25 increase by 14. Thus, on garage wall construction you will need about 717 slag stones. Buying material, provide reasonable stock in case of defects or possible damage of blocks in the course of work.
