Sometimes there is no light not because the bulb has fused, and for more serious reasons, for example, the cartridge in which the bulb is screwed in has failed. In that case its replacement is required that is not difficult to be made at all as can seem at first sight.
Instruction
1. Switch off power supply in that room where you are going to change cartridge in chandelier. If to tell in other words, then you need to turn off the light in this room. It will be possible to include it only when all of you finish. It is necessary to make it, otherwise can hit you with current during the work.
2. Remove chandelier from ceiling. In order that to make it, at first you need to lower protective cap down, and then to carefully disconnect wires. After that you can remove chandelier already directly. In certain cases at first sight can seem that cartridges are located in chandelier in such a way that it is possible it and not to remove. But after all, if you remove chandelier from ceiling, it will be much more convenient to replace cartridge to you.
3. Unscrew upper part of the boss from chandelier. Usually it should be noticed as it is well visible external part of the boss. Further you have to see ceramic basis of the boss to which contacts are directly attached.
4. Get ceramic basis of the boss from the chandelier body. Usually it is quite easy to make it, and no difficulties arise. But be careful and accurate, do not delay basis very sharply or big force, otherwise you can accidentally tear off wires which are attached to it.
5. Disconnect wires which are from the inside of basis, from contacts which are placed on outer side. For this purpose you to be necessary to use the screw-driver. With its help you need to unscrew those bolts by which wires are attached to contacts.
6. Replace old ceramic basis new and perform all operations upside-down. In order that you could check correctness of contact arrangement of the boss, it is necessary to put to it bulb socle. If the last at once densely adjoins to the boss, then everything is all right.
