It is much more pleasant to sit on soft chair, than on stool. But over time sitting loses the qualities and becomes soiled so that cleaning does not help. The most effective way to update any chair is to change upholstery.

- - screw-driver;
- - flat-nose pliers;
- - scissors;
- - stapler just for decoration;
- - hammer;
- - foam rubber;
- - new fabric for upholstery;
- - brackets.
Instruction
1. Begin replacement of upholstery with survey of chair. Check whether its design is steady, whether the back is unsteady, whether there are no cracks in wooden parts. If necessary glue framework.
2. Invert chair legs up. Unscrew bolts by means of which sitting fastens to framework. If parts are stapled – remove them with the anti-stapler.
3. Remove old upholstery of chair nail-catcher or the screw-driver, thrusting under upholstery in the place of fastening. If there is no nail-catcher, tear off old fabric, and pull out the remained nails flat-nose pliers. If under old upholstery the crumbed foam rubber is found, then replace it with new, having cut by the chair size.
4. Scissors cut off fabric so that was enough for chair surface. Consider width of edges of foam rubber and framework. Make allowances in 3-4 cm for bend of the ends of fabric.
5. Put consistently layers – fabric, foam rubber, sitting. Bend edges of material on all perimeter. Just for decoration fix by the stapler it.
6. Begin to fix by one bracket in the middle of each party (at first from the opposite sides). Further add two more brackets on each party, rotating sitting. It will help you to pull consistently fabric at the edges.
7. Fold corners to the center of sitting for diagonal. Wrap one party so that it has coincided with diagonal. In the same way make other party. Fix the received fold by the stapler. Try not to close threaded holes thick layer of fabric.
8. Upholster with this way all edges and corners. Try that material was strongly tense everywhere. Between brackets there should be no cambers and folds. Line all weak brackets with the hammer.
9. Cut off surplus of foam rubber and fabric. Process all places of ledges. Insert ready seat into framework frame. Fix by screws. You make replacement of upholstery of chair back in the described way.
