The microwave oven "has registered" in modern kitchens for a long time. And it is justified as the microwave is very convenient – in it it is possible to defreeze products, to warm up lunch moreover and to prepare full-fledged dish. Therefore there is a wish that it has served long and was reliable.
Instruction
1. In the beginning carefully examine exterior of the microwave. On the body of the furnace there should be no scratches, dents and defects. Open door and attentively study interiors of working cabinet. The covering in it has to be equal and without any damages.
2. Pay special attention to door of the microwave oven. It has to adjoin densely to the body and not dangle. No distortions of door concerning cabinet opening are allowed.
3. Further check operating modes of the furnace which in modern microwaves exists a little. So, to check the microwaves mode take the container with water and put it for two minutes at full capacity. While water heats up, listen to noise of the furnace which she publishes. The sound has to be equal and without vibrations. If the body vibrates, then it means that the cover of the body is badly fastened or the internal fan of cooling is not adjusted.
4. When the furnace is switched off, pull out from it glass with water. If the allotted two minutes water became hotter, so with machine everything is all right. If water warmish, then the microwave is obviously faulty.
5. Now check the grill mode. Turn on the furnace at full capacity, at the same time in cabinet put nothing. After switching off check whether Teng of grill which is located in upper part of working cabinet of the furnace has heated up. If it hot, means everything is all right.
6. It was necessary to check the convections mode. For this purpose turn on the furnace on the maximum power. If at the same time you have felt smell of burned oil or from oven smoke has poured, then it means that the microwave is serviceable and heats up perfectly. And smoke can arise because of factory oil. If the furnace has insufficiently heated up - it is already occasion not to trust such machine.
7. If you have doubts concerning harmful radiations of the microwave oven, then it is possible to check it and from this party. Usually radiation is measured in laboratories by means of the special calibrated device. However, in some shops it is possible to buy the detector, or microwave oven sampler which is intended for indication of dangerous level of electromagnetic radiation. So, put cup of water in the microwave and turn on the furnace. Move the detector along door, slightly concerning it the body. It is possible to carry out by the detector and on door between all four corners. Also check the control panel and air vents. If the detector registers radiation, urgently address in workshop. Do not try to be engaged in maintenance or repair independently at all.
