1. The first type includes devices which are intended for compensation of excess volume of the heat carrier in heating systems and also for temperature expansion of water. When heating boiler there is liquid heat carrier rise of temperature. Also there is liquid expansion. Volume increases approximately by 0.3% for each 10 °C. If temperature increases by 70 °C, then there will be increase in initial volume of the heat carrier approximately for 3%. Liquid is almost not compressed. If in heating services the additional device which allows this volume to leave is not installed, then surely there will be destruction.
2. Tanks for water enter the second type of tanks. They are also called hydroaccumulators. These devices are built in the hydraulic system supporting pressure. They provide constant readiness of system for work. Exactly thanks to them work happens under stable pressure. By means of the hydroaccumulator it is possible to forget about regular manual actuation of the pump when that is demanded by system.
3. So, the hydroaccumulator carries out pressure maintenance in system, at the same time delivering the additional volume of water in system to the required level. Also membrane tank can be applied to prevent destruction of system owing to hydraulic shock. This blow usually arises in pipelines at sharp shutdown or turning on of the pump. Loading can exceed statistical several times. All this leads to destruction of the pipeline, threaded connections or sanitary devices. To prevent it, it is recommended to use expansion tanks which I have capacity from 0.2 liters. The volume of capacity is chosen on pressure fluctuation force.
