Gas heating boilers differ in reliability, efficiency, profitability and simplicity in operation. However all these advantages can be nullified if it is wrong to choose the equipment. It is necessary to consider set of factors: area of the house, availability of technical rooms and hot-water supply, maximum available cost, etc.

1. Choose type of mounting of boiler of heating. Their of everything two – floor and wall. Gas boilers of the first type differ in very big weight and the sizes and also high efficiency. They take a lot of place, but at the same time can heat huge mansions. Wall boilers, on the contrary, quite easy and compact: their weight does not exceed 70 kg, standard dimensions – 80х40х30 cm. However such option is suitable only for cottages of the small and average sizes. If the house is too big, it is necessary to buy several wall boilers of heating.
2. Decide with what combustion chamber the boiler has to be equipped, opened or closed. The first type assumes use of natural draft and ejection of combustion products through special flue. Installation of boiler with the open combustion chamber requires the technical room not less than 8 sq.m, continuous inflow of fresh air and heat-resistant ventilation pipes. Gas boilers with compulsory draft are not so whimsical: they can be established in any room, besides it will not be required to mount expensive flue. But they are more expensive than boilers with the open combustion chamber, and operation of the fans forcing air requires connection to electric energy source.
3. Think, the boiler will be necessary to you only for heating, or it has to provide hot-water supply also. In the first case it is worth paying attention to the single-circuit boilers using separate tank for warming up of the heat carrier. They can provide you and hot water, but for this purpose it is necessary to turn off heating. In the second case double-circuit will be more appropriate: they allow to differentiate heating and hot-water supply. Consider however and the fact that the volume of tank of single-circuit boiler it is normal 3-4 times more, than double-circuit, so, he is capable to provide bigger reserve of hot water.
4. Pay attention to controllers. Consider that the control of the equipment is more complex, the boiler is more expensive. Some controllers are elementary and allow to carry out only the simplest settings, others are capable to adjust independently operating modes of gas heating boiler, to change heat carrier temperature, etc. By means of the special programmable equipment you can even make the schedule of temperatures: for example, rooms will not be heated, you at work so far that will allow to lower expenses.
