To choose houseplant which will please for many years and will not demand from the owner of excessive efforts it is necessary to approach choice process after careful consideration.

1. Be defined whether you want to look after and care for houseplant constantly, or you need unpretentious flower (tree) which will be to water enough once a week and to fertilize time season or in year. Learn what plants conform to your requirements, specify time of their blossoming.
2. Estimate exterior of houseplant, think whether it will fit into interior of your apartment or house. Learn how many it is required to plant of light for growth what indoor temperature is for it favorable. Think whether you will be able to find the place in which to your pet it will be comfortable in the apartment.
3. Learn to what sizes your plant grows whether height of ceilings indoors or distance between regiments will become barrier to its normal growth. In advance define the place for new window plant, considering its features. Remember that plants do not love "moving" and even movements within the room, they every time should adapt to new conditions.
4. Having come to shop, pay attention to condition of all sold plants, and not just that which was pleasant to you. If exterior of other flowers leaves much to be desired, choose other shop, otherwise you risk to buy sick plant which will not endure moving. Do not buy plants which are exposed in the passes or other places available to cold and drafts. Make sure that on leaves and stalks there are no insects, the earth friable and damp, without mold and raid, and between layer of the earth and walls of pot is not present emptiness.
5. Upon purchase give preference to young plants – in them more vital forces, they adapt to changes of conditions easier. Favorable time for purchase of flowers – since the end of spring to the middle of fall though purchase is possible also in other season. Buy necessary fertilizers or the earth together with plant if change is required. Specify special conditions of maintenance of the houseplant chosen by you at the consultant and listen to councils for care for it.
