2. Distinguish six classes of laminate, to them there correspond certain numbers: 21, 22, 23, 31, 32 and 33. Such classification has been developed by the European association of producers of the laminated floors on the basis of series of tests for abradability, crash-worthiness, sound insulation, resistance to water, light, mechanical influences, etc. The first digit speaks about scope of laminate: 2 – house, 3 – commercial. The second digit shows the level of rate of exploitation of laminate, in ascending order from 1 to 3.
3. Choose classes 21-23 for flooring in your apartment. Class 23 is intended for the greatest extent of circulation, for example, in kitchen or in the hall. Besides, it has the increased moisture resistance that is very relevant for these rooms. In kitchen during cooking in air there is increased humidity which settles on floor. 4. Classes 21 and 22 are intended for rooms with rare passability, for example, of the bedroom or the nursery. This type of laminate the cheapest, but also serves it not for long, at most up to 6 years. Therefore if there is opportunity, 23 classes are better to lay in all apartment material.
