1. When choosing seeds of parsley it is necessary to pay attention that this garden culture can be rhizocarpous and sheet. Widespread grades of rhizocarpous parsley: "Final", "Alba", Lyubash, "Sugar", etc. At plants of root grades the spindle-shaped or cone-shaped root of pale yellow color is formed. In turn sheet parsley can be curly or have smooth leaves. Carry "Breeze" to gladkolistny plant, "Athlete" and "Ordinary sheet". Distinguish "Triplex", "Aster" from grades of sheet curly plant and "to Mazin with RZ".
2. For cultivation purchased or independently collected seeds can be used. Remove seeds from special matochnik and do it at the end of the cereous or at the beginning of full ripeness for the second year of vegetation. At the same time garden culture is accurately mown by means of harvesters and stack it in rolls, and 3-5 days later the dried plant threshed. After such procedure the seeds in addition dry and clean from impurity.
3. It is possible to judge quality of seeds of parsley on their exterior. They should not be wrinkled or defective as it would demonstrate poor quality of sowing material at all. Besides, it is necessary to pay attention to smell of seeds: fresh sowing material has strong aroma.
4. Plant parsley seeds in the spring or in the fall. When landing in the spring seeds ret previously (it is done in order that they have a little turned up). For this purpose take superficial plate, put on it the gauze put in several layers, from above stack seeds and spill weak solution of permanganate of potassium. As soon as there are first sprouts, the plate with seeds is placed in the fridge and leave there for 7-10 days. Such hardening helps to receive early shoots (after crops in soil of such seeds the first shoots appear week later). Plant dry seeds late fall.
