The choice of quality good laminate or other floor covering – obligatory part of repair work. In variety of goods it is easy to get confused. But there are characteristics which will help to make right choice.

1. Having come to shop, do not hesitate to ask questions to the selling assistant and also to ask technical and sanitary data sheet. In advance compare characteristics on the Internet.
2. Pay attention to the guaranteed operation term. It should not be less than seven years. Most often the upper bound makes ten-year term.
3. One of important characteristics is the density of plate. Pay it attention when choosing floor covering. Density of plate of quality laminate has to be higher than 850 kg/m3. This characteristic is specified in certificates of quality and on packings with product.
4. Look for laminate which basis is formed by fiber board of high density (fibreboard, HDF).
5. Surely check laminate thickness of plate. It has to be not less than 7-8 millimeters. Stability of covering to wear and heat conductivity directly depends on thickness. Thickness of 8-9 millimeters is considered ideal.
6. Pay attention to how the fixing lock of board of laminate is arranged. Trace that it had no traces of break, cracks, chips and dents. Otherwise it is ideal to adjust and fix floor covering it will not be possible.
7. Choose laminate of class necessary to you. It will provide long service. Laminate can be laid in public places with big congestion of the people (31-33 classes), or in acc«mmodation spaces (21-23 classes). Remember that higher class means higher resistance to damages. 31-33 classes are the best of all to use laminate.
8. Look at colors of separate boards. They should not differ within one article, especially one packing. It is good indicator of quality.
9. Never buy products of the producers which are not part of the European association of producers of the laminated floor coverings as these goods have number of additional certificates of quality.
