2. However expanded polyethylene substrates except merits, have also negative. The fact is that the frothed substrate quite badly keeps the form. Over time there is shrinkage. Also this material very much is afraid of UV-radiation.
3. Sometimes people are used pith substrates. They can be got in the construction market. Such substrates in sheets and rolls are on sale. This rigid insulating material best of all approaches as basis under floating floor. It should be noted, at substrate of this kind excellent heat-insulating qualities. The pith substrate is not exposed to rotting and mold. Essential shortcoming is that formation of condensate on bottom side of floor covering is possible.
4. You can use substrate from kraft paper at which there is bitumen. This substrate is covered with crumb which promotes good ventilation. The bituminous layer does not allow to get moisture. Besides, it is possible to call rubber and pith substrate the great sound isolation center. However at pith substrate quite high cost. It is inexpedient to be applied to the inexpensive laminated covering, with the small term of operation.
