Construction of the base is the beginning of construction of the building of any type and purpose. In total there are several views of the bases, however if it is about wooden fellings, then it will be more reasonable to choose one of two: tape or column.
Qualitatively built, strong base has to maintain the mass of the building and also resist to the lateral pressure of the soil, pressure of the frozen underground waters in winter season and it is reliable to protect the basement of the house from excessive moisture. However it is necessary to remember, as tape, and column views of the base need to be protected from moisture and influence of some other natural factors.

Besides construction of fellings, this view of the base can be applied also at construction of brick houses. Having constructed felling on continuous footing and at due leaving, it is possible not to be afraid that in the basement there will be mold and fungus, and the lower wreaths of the house will begin to start to rot over time. It is very important that tape the base had outlets (opening) as they will serve as excellent ventilation. Regarding material for the base then everything depends on financial opportunities of future owner of wooden felling. The reliable basis for the building can be constructed brick, concrete and concrete blocks. The most expensive option is the brick, however expenses upon purchase of this strong and equal material come true over time as the brick socle (upper part of the base) does not demand additional exterior finish.
Column base
The column base is applied as basis for rather light-weight constructions, it perfectly will be suitable for wooden felling, bath, gazebo, the frame house and also economic rooms of any type. As material for the column base it is possible to use brick, asbestos, iron or plastic pipes. In certain cases it is possible to apply also wooden columns, however in order that the tree did not give in to rotting, it needs to be "wrapped up" with roofing material. Before construction of the column base, in soil, by means of special earth drill, it is necessary to drill openings of the corresponding diameter. After that, it is necessary to insert columns into openings, to place in them pieces of armature and to fill in with mix of cement and crushed stone. At construction of small wooden felling, will be twelve columns enough. Important: between column and wooden elements of basis of the building, it is necessary to record laying from roofing material. The main lack of the column base is that the building built on its basis will be deprived of the basement.
