Visually to increase space in the small room, it is possible to use large number of mirrors and furniture with glass inserts. But even objects of decor will not allow "to expand" living space if to paste over walls with improper wall-paper.
Instruction
1. Refuse the large repeating ornament on wall-paper. Alternation of geometrical figures or big flowers will visually narrow space and will make the room even less. Give preference to wall-paper on which drawing does not focus look on separate elements.
2. Exclude dark or motley wall-paper. They will make the room shaded that will affect perception of small space.
3. Give preference to light pastel tones. They can be both warm, and cold, but the last, for example, pale blue and light green, expand space, kind of move apart walls. But be careful in the choice, otherwise the room can become similar to hospital chamber. To avoid it, use wall-paper with impressive surface.
4. Use wall-paper compliments, but be careful. If to create typical interior with use of two flowers and border between them, it is possible to lower ceiling visually. It is better to place different cloth on the different walls.
5. Do not paste wallpaper border on ceiling perimeter as even the lightest option will cut down height of walls.
6. Create laconic interior of the room in white shades - it is optimal variant for the small room. Remember that in this case furniture and elements of decor should not be too dark.
7. Think up design of the room with inclusion on one wall of photowall-paper. Those that have "leaving deep into" will look especially well, that is the look is fixed on the object which is on the image background.
8. Choose wall-paper with the unostentatious vertical drawing. Strips should not be bright, it is better to give preference to the soft junctions making deceptive impression of modulation of one tone to another. Such coloring will allow to increase visually height of walls, especially if you pull false ceilings from glossy cloth or will use brilliant white paint.
