The enameled teapot is the most widespread type of teapot in our kitchens. Though to such remarkable thing in kitchen there are troubles, for example, the scum in teapot can appear over time. It is easy to deal with this problem, using simple house means which always near at hand at each hostess.
- - vinegar of 5 tablespoons
- - peel from apples and pears
- - 5-10 g of citric acid
- - baking soda 2-3 tablespoons
1. Has perfectly proved way of cleaning of the enameled teapot of scum by means of vinegar. If layer of scale rather thin, it is necessary to boil within 1.5-2 hours in teapot water with addition of vinegar in proportion of 5 tablespoons on 1 liter of water. For faster de-scaling use solution of acetic essence (1 part of essence on 5 parts of water). At such way it is required to boil 30-40 minutes.
2. In summertime it is possible to use peel from apples and pears for cleaning of the enameled teapot of scum. Put peel from several fruits in teapot, fill in with water and boil thoroughly 20-30 minutes. Such way will help not only to get rid of scum, but also to return to teapot walls initial color.
3. The method of cleaning of the enameled teapot with citric acid is also popular. For this purpose fill in teapot 5-10 g of acid (depending on quantity of scum), fill in with water and boil. Then let's water stand a little in teapot, wash out inside face and boil in it clear water for removal of residues of citric acid.
4. The way with citric acid effectively deletes small layers of scale if the scum accumulated for a long time, use baking soda. At first boil clear water in teapot, then add to it soda at the rate of 2-3 tablespoons on 1 liter of water then you boil 30-40 more minutes. At once after this procedure for strengthening of effect it is possible to boil in addition in teapot water with addition of vinegar within 20 minutes. After these procedures the thick layer of scale can easily be cleaned off by means of wooden stick or blade.
