Instruction
1. At first define whether has come it is time to carry out cleaning of ventilation system. For this purpose bring thin plate of paper or the lit match to ventilating grate. If the leaf or flame are attracted to grid, then with ventilation everything is normal if remain are immovable or slightly bend – it is time to clean ventilation.
2. Carefully turn off ventilating grate. Wipe dust and dirt from grid (outside and from within), then from opening walls. If pollution very strong, it is possible to use solvent. But use of acid and alkaline solutions is undesirable. It can lead to emergence of unpleasant smell from ventilation.
3. Scraper remove the dried-up dirt from the walls adjacent to air vent, remove it. Then insert hose of the vacuum cleaner into opening and direct it at first up, then down the channel. Vacuum 3-5 minutes.
4. Once again wipe air vent and adjacent walls with rag. The rag should not be wet, only slightly damp. After that the ventilating grate has to be closed. Trace that between wall and grid there were no slots. If those are available, close up cement that unpleasant smells did not return to premises.
