Single-phase electric meters apply in single-phase network. They is the most optimal variant for connection in the city apartment. Power of connection to the single-phase counter is limited to thirteen kilowatts. Such counters apply to electricity metering in apartments, houses, private garages and garden lodges.

Instruction

1. Undergo obligatory testing of the electric meter. It is carried out by bodies of the Energonadzor, they seal up counters of electrical energy. It is recommended to carry out connection of the single-phase electric counter according to the instruction which is attached to the device. The instruction contains the detailed description of its technical characteristics and other parameters.

2. Install the single-phase electric counter, applying mounting screws. Put the isolation center which exterior reminds funnel from outer side of wall. From within it has sleeve appearance. As insulators lead or polyvinylchloride tubes can be applied. Schemes of connection of the single-phase counter provide the isolated wiring from external entry point to the counter. For this purpose do isolation of two-core wire or carry out cable with integral section. Copper wires have to be with section not less than 2.4 mm2 or aluminum wires with a section of 4 mm2 and more.

3. Make mounting of electrical wiring, leaving free the ends of wires (at least on 12 centimeters). Connect wires to terminals of the single-phase electric meter, using marking (phase wire - the 1st terminal at the left, zero conductor - the 3rd terminal at the left, load wires - the 2nd and 4th). Isolation or cover of wire with zero tension to the counter of the electric power is recommended to make in color other than other wire (length about 10 centimeters).

4. Make control of passing of electric current from the beginning of current windings by their ends. The terminal cover of the single-phase counter includes 4 power contacts. Two are intended for single-phase current, and others two - for its giving on electrical wiring. If measuring transformers are used, then it is necessary to consider polarity of transformers of tension and current.
