The time relay represents the device, as a rule, intended for management of loading (consumers) in various systems of household and industrial automatic equipment. Such relays are used to management on time by mechanisms and electrical circuits according to the provided technologies. It can be guidance systems of ventilation, heating, conveyors and so on. The way of connection of time relay in many respects depends on specific type of the relay.
Instruction
1. For example study way of connection of time relay of 2PBM. The device serves for management of two electrical circuits independent from each other by means of short circuit of chains and their disconnection according to programs with the daily mode. To set two independent programs, installation of pins in specially provided openings of program disk is made.
2. Before connecting time relay, attach it to wall in three points. The position of the device has to be vertical (permissible deviation from vertical makes 10 degrees). When choosing the place of fastening of the relay consider that ambient temperature indoors has to be ranging from minus 20 to plus 50 degrees Celsius, and the humidity should not exceed 80%.
3. Reliably fix the relay on installation site. Uncover the device and ground the relay mechanism. At the same time contact "Earth" attach to contacts "220 V" of previously deenergized network with the corresponding tension. Before installation surely make sure that line voltage is disconnected.
4. Connect loading to the contacts of the relay having marking "I progr." and "II progr.". Install the required program, having screwed up pins in the corresponding openings of program disk. Wrap the pins which have remained unused in soft paper and place in the deepening located in the relay body basis. Turn program disk clockwise that it smoothly and without jammings has translated asterisks of both programs.
5. Close relay cover. Give power supply on the device for 10-15 minutes then power off. Open relay cover, establish disk of scale of minutes and program disk on the exact time (for this purpose there are corresponding indexes). Set the lever on casing to position "Start-up". Close cover of the relay and give power supply of 220 V.
