2. Make measurement of constructive parts of well. If the well is going to be made of concrete rings, you recognize that the standard height of ring is 0.9 m, and diameter of 0.7-2 m. For calculation of the volume occupied by one ring measure its diameter, halve and increase by number "пи", equal about 3.14. Thus, the well representing capacity from three rings with a diameter of 1 m will be filled with water approximately in three days.
3. For calculation of volume of the well put in the form of rectangular or square felling determine the area of cut of design. By means of normal tape measure measure internal parameters of felling, that is length and width of walls. Multiply both indicators, having transferred them to meters, and you receive the useful area of well. For determination of total amount of construction increase the square at felling height.
4. To calculate the enclosed volume of construction, it is necessary to measure height of water in well previously. Use for this purpose cord with the cargo attached to its end. Slowly lower cargo on cord to the mine of well until it reaches bottom.
5. Now lift cargo, and the cord which longwise has become wet determine water layer height in well. Increase height of water-bearing stratum by the area of cut of the mine of well, and you receive the enclosed volume of well.
6. If you are going to use for water supply from well the submersible pump, consider that he has to settle down at distance not less than a meter from construction bottom. Therefore the type of the pump which you can use without risk depends on the size of enclosed volume of well to damage engineering device for water injection.
