Interiors in the Chinese style represent synthesis of restraint, practicality and comfort – minimalism in finishing, proximity to the nature, naturalness of materials.

1. Consider availability of free space – it has to be much. The Chinese style does not allow abundance of elements of decor, furniture, accessories and finishing – everything has to be simply and strictly. At registration always consider the principles the hair dryer-shuy - it is basis of the competent organization of space.
2. Use screens and partitions are, perhaps, the most traditional elements of the Chinese furniture. Besides it is the excellent tool for zoning of the room therefore you can use screen functionally – to separate work area from meal zone, for example. But also as decorative part of partition are very effective – made of glass and decorated with hieroglyphs with wishes of wellbeing and health, they can become the basic decorative element of the room.
3. The room has to be issued in ascetic style therefore choose furniture simple, conservative, from natural materials. Something one will become the central element – couch or traditional table for tea ceremony. Choose the models from wattled bamboo or natural wood decorated with thread.
4. To brighten up furniture and a little accessories will help to play down sharp impression of the empty room – on cloth walls with landscapes, on corners handmade porcelain vases of different form and size, powerful trees in the stylized pots or tubs. The small aquarium will give to the room cozy and house look – contemplation of sea life weakens and pacifies.
5. Sheathe walls, floors, door and window openings panel boards or bamboo cloth. Use of paper wall covering with the Chinese symbolics is admissible. Decorate ceiling with beams, and decorate windows with soft curtains, blinds or leave open.
6. Attentively choose color – the room has to correspond to completely chosen style. Blue shades have to be present surely – in the form of separate strokes or the main coloring. It is a lot of white (cleans soul and thought), the dark tree furniture (gives solidity), red carpet (brings good luck), olive and beige shades (calm) – such is traditional east color gamma.
