Gypsum cardboard has become widespread at all types of construction jobs. During the work with this material it constantly is required to be cut on pieces of different form and the sizes. It is easy to cut gypsum cardboard, neither special purpose tools, nor skills for this purpose are required.
Instruction
1. Measure the size necessary to you on both sides of the sheet of gypsum cardboard. After that put metal ruler or equal firm profile on leaf and knife top layer of leaf. Deepen section knife several times for receiving equal break of gypsum cardboard.
2. Is not necessary to draw handle or pencil the line on gypsum cardboard, and then to do section on the line without use of ruler. In this case the section will turn out, most likely, uneven.
3. Put the sheet of gypsum cardboard on edge. Not strongly knock with knee or make-shifts on it from that party where there is no section of top layer. The sheet of gypsum cardboard will break exactly where there was marking. For this purpose there are enough two-three accurate blows. Cut cardboard which holds two parts of the whole leaf.
4. If it is required to bypass some obstacles in way of design (window, beam, door opening), then saw through hacksaw the sheet of gypsum cardboard on the necessary depth. Then knife cut piece from two parties.
5. In need of assembling of lamps in ceiling, cut through circle of the necessary diameter by means of knife. Accurately beat out it the hammer. Apply to achievement of the best effect for this purpose drill which the special nozzle for insert of the lock at interroom doors is put on.
6. If it is required to make figured cut, then at first draw template on paper and cut it. Then specify once again all sizes, having put ready template to the necessary place. Make all necessary changes.
7. Apply template to the sheet of gypsum cardboard and circle it with pencil. Cut direct sites hacksaw, cut through curves knife.
