What would not be your garden and kitchen garden, big or small, you for certain should face diseases of plants. It is necessary to be able to distinguish them to pick up the correct treatment and prevention. All diseases of garden plants are divided into 4 types

1. Viral diseases

They are caused by viruses which are visible only under microscope. Examples of these diseases: bacterial cancer and decay. Can be transmitted these diseases by not disinfected tools, through water and sometimes insects. Some fungicides are capable to fight against bacteria. But it is generally preferable to cut off and burn sick parts or even all plant.

3. Fungal diseases

They are caused by microscopic mushrooms which develop very quickly and influence fabrics and surface of plants. Symptoms of diseases are spots and raid on leaves and as a result withering, rotting. Fungal diseases are most widespread in our gardens. It is mealy dew, rust, phytophthora... They are transmitted by the rain water and watering, wind which are not disinfected by tools animal, through the soil (in kitchen garden, for example, if the crop rotation is not observed). Mainly for fight fungicides (preferably natural origin) are used. If very most part of plant is infected, then it is destroyed.

4. Physiological diseases

They are caused by natural factors. Symptoms: drying up, lack of flowers and fruits, yellowing, growth delay...

Examples of the natural factors influencing disease of plant are the drought, the poor soil, lack of light, pollution... In general it is recommended to think of, where to plant plant for its best development. Good leaving, good condition of the soil, protection against wind...-necessary conditions for good development of your plant.

It is necessary to limit any spread of these diseases as far as it is possible. Very important point: surely disinfect the tools after use and do not forget about crop rotation in your kitchen garden.
