Stinol – the popular Russian brand of inexpensive fridges of economy class. The Stinol plant releases various types of the equipment, including with system No frost which does not demand defrosting. However many consumers still give preference to normal fridges. They cheaper, more economically and rustle less. Timely defrosting of such fridge – guarantee that it will normally work, and products will remain fresh longer.
Instruction
1. Periodically examine the evaporator of the freezing chamber of the Stinol fridge. Under the influence of warm humid air from the placement on its surfaces the frost deposit gradually accrues. It interferes with heat exchange between products and the evaporator, worsens quality of freezing and also can lead to deformation and mechanical breakage of parts of the freezer. Therefore as soon as the layer of hoarfrost reaches thickness of 5 mm, start defrosting of the fridge.
2. Turn the temperature regulator handle in the provision "0" for disconnection of the Stinol fridge from network. After that take out products from refrigerating and freezing cameras and place them in the cool place, far away from radiators and sunlight. If in the apartment there is the second fridge, for a while put products there.
3. Leave door of the freezing chamber which is slightly opened. Do not try to accelerate process of defrosting of the fridge by means of hair dryers and pans with the boiling water. It will spoil rubber gasket of door and will lead to corrosion of the evaporator. Do not remove frost by means of knives and other sharp objects. You risk to break tightness of tubes on which coolant circulates.
4. You watch that the melt water was not poured through first line of the freezing chamber. On door opening of the Stinol fridge there passes the heating pipeline. Moisture hit inside can cause its corrosion. If in day of the freezing chamber there is drain hole, substitute under it suitable capacity for collecting water. If there is no opening, put rag on camera bottom and periodically wring out it in bucket, basin or sink.
5. As soon as all hoarfrost thaws, wipe the surfaces of the freezing chamber with soft dry rag. Leave door for some time moisture, open for full evaporation of the remains. Take out from the fridge of the shelf and boxes and wash up them separately. Wipe refrigeration chamber with clean damp rag. Remove pollution with warm soap solution. For elimination of foreign smells dissolve soda in water or add a little food vinegar. Wipe dry.
6. Turn temperature regulator into position and close doors. In 1-2 hours when the Stinol fridge gains the necessary temperature, load into it the cooled foodstuff.
