1. Prepare workplace: sit down at table and put before yourself clean sheet of cardboard or dense paper. At insufficient lighting include desk lamp.
2. Remove bracelet or thong from the mechanical clock. Disconnect back cover of the watch case. It is necessary to consider that some covers have thread, others - are just latched.
3. Remove the mechanism from the watch case. Take out all loose plastic inserts and metal rings if they are present.
4. Invert hours so that their glass has appeared above and accurately put them on the sheet of paper, before yourself.
5. Attentively consider the clockwork by means of magnifying glass. Find the small pin located on the place of entrance of the winding stem. Press on this pin the conical screw-driver and delay clockwork head aside.
6. It is necessary to consider that in old models of hours instead of pin there can be screw. In this case it is necessary to turn it on floor of turn and to take clockwork head.
7. Remove the clockwork from the watch case and establish clockwork head with the lever into place. For installation of clockwork head it is necessary to press the pin again. Not to damage hand it is recommended to hold, at this operation, hours in hand.
8. Remove hands, using tweezers. Be very accurate since it is easy to bend arrows.
9. Remove the dial. For this purpose it is necessary to weaken slightly two small screws located on clockwork rim. Take the dial and twirl screws.
10. Take foil, bill wheel, hour wheel and pinion of minute hand. In the presence, get the plate holding all above-mentioned parts.
