Lobelia erinus — perennial plant with small leaves and flowers with a diameter up to 2 cm, is grown up as one-year. Coloring of flowers, depending on grade, is purple, white, blue, blue and dark blue. For creation of required area of power supply as in and case with other plants, the lobelia needs dive. Lobelia is culture with weak root system therefore it is better to make dive in separate pots.
Instruction
1. Buy soil for crops in flower shop. Fertilize it mineral fertilizers. On the loosened soil seed lobelia seeds. Slightly press down seeds in soil, but do not fall asleep, and that will not be sprouted. Seeds very small are also similar to dust, it is very important to seed them not densely. Cover with film that the earth has not dried up. In 5-10 days when shoots appear, remove film.
2. Water very accurately, it is desirable from spray not to wash away roots. Lobelia very much is afraid of overwetting of the soil. Water moderately - short-term droughts for it better, than constant dampness. Begin to dive seedlings not earlier than when the first or second present sheet appears. If at lobelia only cotyledonous leaves, with sword-play it is necessary to wait. Cotyledonous leaves call the first appeared couple of leaves. The leaves which have grown after them are called the presents.
3. For sword-play take the same earth in which the seedling has grown. Repeatedly it is not necessary to fertilize it. It has to be the same on structure, as native. Fill the earth in pot or disposable glass, humidify, slightly condense and only after that you carry out change.
4. Do poles in the earth by special landing peg or toothpick. Accurately hook shoots and replace them in deepenings on several sprouts. Seedling needs to give as much as possible light. You can put seedling on windowsill, then the additional lamp will not be required. Water every other day with normal water, and once a week it is possible to water with mineral fertilizer. So far this fertilizing has to be enough for normal growth.
5. At the beginning of May your seedling has to be ready for change in flower beds or vases. Maintain optimum air temperature for lobelia – 15-20 °C.
