Gypsum cardboard is plaster leaf which is revetted with especially strong cardboard. How to do gypsum cardboard?
It is possible to do gypsum cardboard in two ways – frame and with construction adhesive. At the first way the sheets fix at distance of 2-2.5 cm from wall on framework from the wooden or aluminum rails fastened to wall on self-tapping screws. The received airspace plays thermal insulation role. Important point – not to glue sheets end-to-end as it is impossible to adjust them so that the joint was not visible, usually joints cover with putty. It is correct to do gypsum cardboard on framework for production of curvilinear objects. The second way consists in use of special construction adhesive. Sheets just paste to the cleaned and grounded concrete wall. The principle of processing of joints the same, as in the first case – puttying by putty.
