Instruction
1. Remove old covering of mattress and attentively investigate its stuffing. The berth has to be moderately rigid and ideally equal - differently you risk not only comfort during sleep, but also health. In house conditions it is possible to replace even the spoiled element of the spring block. The necessary purchase can be made in shop of accessories. If necessary address to the company which changes separate springs and even makes them according to individual sketches.
2. After check of framework take care of equal box for berth. The damaged places can be patched layer of furniture felt – it is sewn manually to the spring block. Then it is recommended to paste over mattress with furniture polyurethane foam. For this purpose get material of the increased rigidity, 3 cm thick, for example foam rubber with standard marking of ST. Before purchase study characteristics of goods – for mattress take polyurethane foam with density not below, than 30 kg/m3.
3. Cut out foam rubber in berth size. Plan edges of parts of cut marker, then make cuts by means of ruler and sharply ground construction knife. When cutting conduct the tool ideally exactly and do not do the sawing movements.
4. Clean adherend parts of foam rubber with brush and apply with spraying gun or brush furniture glue (for example, "Foam rubber-2", "Slow motion-100" or Tapicer Spray 47-52). Operate according to the instruction on packing of means. Usually glue mix needs to be kept on foam rubber before gluing (at different brands – from 1-3 to 20-45 minutes). 5. Start mattress banner. For front part of berth it is possible to make cover – it with ease is put on bed (sofa) and is removed for washing. Pick up working fabric of the necessary coloring and take measurements longwise, width and thickness of mattress.
