How to draw the room

How to draw the room

Quite often for domestic or production needs it is required to draw the plan of the room. Such scheme can be necessary when carrying out shift in the apartment, for rational placement of jobs at office or when scheduling evacuation in case of fire or other natural disaster. For drawing of such image there is no need to seize difficult computer programs, it is possible to make it with use of simple tools.

It is required to you

  • - measuring tape measure;
  • - scaled paper;
  • - ruler;
  • - pencil;
  • - eraser;
  • - felt-tip pens or ink.

Instruction

1. Take the measurements of the room or other construction which scheme you should draw. For this purpose you need measuring tape measure and the help of the workmate. Measure consistently length and width of all rooms (rooms, etc.). Do not forget to define distance from walls to window and door openings and also to locations of stationary objects (ledges, niches, electric heaters, pipes, air ducts). Enter measuring results in the special table, having transferred values to meters.

2. Prepare leaf of the suitable sizes. It is convenient to represent the scheme of the room on scaled paper. If you have to create floor plan of the building or two-level apartment, it is required to you, perhaps, several sheets.

3. Choose scheme scale. Be guided at the same time by the total length and width of the room and the sizes of the leaf which is available for you. The normal standard apartment can be represented in scale 1: 50 (at the same time in one centimeter on the scheme 50 cm will find room). You can also choose scale 1:25 or 1:100, everything depends on your specific situation. Surely specify the chosen scale in the description to the scheme.

4. Begin to draw the plan of the room from one of corners, having a little receded from the sheet edge. If on the scheme it is necessary to represent external elements of the building, for example, loggia or balcony, consider it at placement of the drawing. Consistently draw room contours, considering at the same time the chosen scale. Use for this purpose simple pencil and eraser that if desired it was possible to correct defects on progress of work.

5. If the scheme displays several adjacent rooms, put them in turn. Leave without shading of the place where window and door openings will be represented. Note on the plan in what party doors open. Represent where stair wells, hatches, electric sockets and switches are located.

6. After drawing of the plan completely check it for availability of mistakes or inaccuracies. Having made sure that the plan is implemented perfectly, issue it finally, having traced contours ink or felt-tip pens.
