1. First of all it is worth understanding why there is reverse thrust and whether additional procedures for kindling are required. Bring strip of the thin paper attached on basis or thin weather vane in the furnace. 2. Compare temperature on the street and indoors. If air is outside warmer than air temperature indoors, can not doubt, the furnace will smoke at kindling. By means of the ordinary household hair dryer it is possible to warm up furnace space of the furnace and to eliminate with that reverse thrust.
3. The low flue can become the reason of emergence of reverse thrust. Height of flue has to be not less than four and a half meters, not below ventilating duct. Having increased stack height, you thereby will increase draft. The flue has to be above roof ridge, at arrangement of pipe near high objects and trees the draft will depend completely on wind speed and its direction.
4. Deposits and soot and also ledges and the acting bricks in flue can create reverse thrust. The more smooth surface of flue inside, the will be better draft.
