Honey is the valuable product containing complex of the useful substances necessary for human health. To have the delicacy, it is not enough to put beehives. It is necessary to follow the basic principles of placement of apiary, rules of its arrangement and contents.

- - the stock which is used during swarming;

Instruction
1. Choose the place for apiary. The main condition which influences the choice of the place it is proximity of melliferous herbs. For profitable apiary the arrangement of the blossoming plants in radius of 2-3 km is desirable. It can be forest edges, fields, fruit-trees or bushes and meadows with raznotravy. That bees found nectar at different times, it will be required to transport beehives to medosbor 2-3 times a year.
2. Calculate quantities of beehives. The territory under apiary is chosen taking into account the number of bee families. In view of that on one family 30-40 square meters are necessary, define possible quantity of beehives which you can place. Provide extra space for lodges if you want to expand apiary.
3. Think of farm buildings. Equip apiary according to the opportunities as even not only beehives, but also subsidiary buildings are necessary for small economy: storage for stock, zimovnik of bees, the place for pumping of honey and repair work. Establish small lodge with windows on apiary in shadow. Take care of that doors and windows densely adjoined to jambs – otherwise bees will prevent your work. Here you will be able to prepare syrup on plate, to sort wax, to unpack on table of cell, etc. Separately you store ready honey, sugar, empty tanks, spare framework, stock and other objects.
4. Put beehives at distance of 3-4 m from each other among and 4-6 m between ranks. At limitation of the territory, arrange them on one with distance 1 m. That bees in narrowness did not confuse the houses, paint them in different colors, do notches and pipe rack different form and develop in the opposite directions. 5. That the apiary has been protected from wind and got warm the sun, arrange it on slope – it will save beehives from cold. If the area flat, make green hedge of fir-trees and bush from prevailing winds. It is possible to use for green hedge also other plants: hawthorn, yellow acacia, ryabinnik, mespilus. They will not prevent also in hot day as will create shadowing of beehives.
6. Reserve stock. Irrespective of the sizes of apiary a lot of stock will be required. Stock up with forest strip chisel, wire mesh guard, smoker, medogonka and several spare beehives at once. Buy the equipment in process of requirement, but do not use stock of neighbors – diseases are so told.
