Chimney fire chamber – fireplace heart, the place where the subdued fire gives heat to surrounding living space. 1. That the fireplace effectively worked and gave heat maximum, the fire chamber has to be established by certain rules, with compliance with laws of heat engineering. The first and main requirement to it – high thermal stability. The most widespread materials used at their production – the burned grog clay, fire cement, steel or pig-iron sheets, fire-resistant glass. 2. There are several types of chimney fire chambers – opened, closed of fire chamber-inset. The last type is used for repair of already operating fireplaces. Installation of fire chamber requires the tool – drill with metal drills, zaklepochnik, gun for sealant, the Bulgarian with disk on stainless steel and also rivets, heat-resistant sealant, collars of fastening of flue, washer, bolts, nuts, etc.

4. The wall which is directly adjoining fireplace needs to be equipped with thermal insulation. Experts recommend to use for this purpose basalt cotton wool of Rockwool Fire Batts of production of Denmark. At the same time the following requirements have to be observed – from the fire chamber to layer of cotton wool there have to be 100 mm, and layer of cotton wool to have thickness of 50 mm.
5. Trace also that the axis of flue coincided with axis of chimney fire chamber. This operation is carried out by means of the plumb lowered through flue.
6. Further secure floor against overheating for what under legs of fire chamber it is necessary to enclose shamotny bricks, steel sheet, and between overlapping and floor to put basalt cotton wool.
7. When the support is established on leaf, the fireplace can be otgorizontirovat adjustment screws and to fix finally on wall by steel corners.
