Acquisition of fire-protective door does not guarantee reliable protection against fire yet. High-quality functioning of product in extreme situations is possible only on condition of technology correctly carried out installation.
Mounting of fire-protective door – responsible business, depends life of people at the fire on it. Therefore it is so important to observe the technology sequence of mounting.
Dismantling of old door
The former design is removed completely; including door case with all elements and the mounting fixing old product in aperture. The released aperture on perimeter is cleaned from plaster. After anchor bolts are inserted, it is possible to wind nuts, but not up to the end. The next stage – attaching of door cloth and adjustment of provision of door case. All operation is performed with constant use of level to avoid distortions. Further it is possible to tighten nuts on anchor bolts. The inhaling is made in turn, on 1-1.5 turns not to warp design. After the inhaling is made completely, it is possible to remove wooden wedges and to put stubs on nuts. The quality of work is checked by repeated opening, closing of door. The spontaneous movement of door cloth is sign of low-quality work.
Thermal insulation and finishing
The remained emptiness between wall and box are filled with the special polyurethane foam having the lowered combustibility, and mineral wool. The special heat resisting cement slurry is sometimes used. Before works on thermal insulation all castle openings at doors are stuck with adhesive tape to exclude hit in foam. In conclusion on assembly gaps the platbands made of fire-resistant material and suitable designs on shade are imposed.
