Partitions from gypsum cardboard are good way to resolve issue of zoning of any rooms. Variety of forms of such partitions is limited only to imagination of the master. Relative simplicity of installation allows to build partition independently, without resorting to services of team of builders.

- - rack-mount profile;
- - the profile directing;
- - fixture;
- - tape measure;
- - construction level;
- - screw driver;
- - drill or perforator;
- - knife.
Instruction
1. Take tape measure and measure distance from floor to ceiling - it is height of your future partition. Measure distance between walls (if you plan partition from wall to wall), or from wall to point where the expected partition comes to an end. This distance - its length.
2. Knowing these sizes, calculate amount of gypsum cardboard which is required to you for installation of partition. Also count how many the profile will be necessary to build framework. For calculations use the scheme drawing made on the basis of the measurements taken by you and configuration of framework. In other words, draw detailed plan in which specify all parts and their sizes on the sheet of paper.
3. Cut profile by the sizes. Scissor profile, "Bulgarian" or normal hacksaw. There are no rules – do as it is convenient to you.
4. In partition installation site from gypsum cardboard, draw strictly vertical line on wall. Use the level and pencil. Apply piece of rack-mount profile of the corresponding length to this line. Through openings in profile note on drilling point wall. In case of absence in profile of openings, drill them with step of 40-50 cm in advance. Repeat everything made on opposite wall.
5. Carry out on ceiling and half of the line which will connect among themselves lines on walls. On floor and ceiling make marks for drilling.
6. By means of drill drill all planned openings. For drilling of openings in concrete wall use the perforator and drill with sealing from tverdosplav (will win).
7. Using fixture (anchor, crutches, dowel nails), fix rack-mount profile on floor, walls and ceiling. It is framework basis for partition from gypsum cardboard. Finish mounting of framework, having in turn fastened all prepared pieces of the directing profile to basis.
8. Cut out sheets of gypsum cardboard on part of the necessary size. Cut gypsum cardboard. Stationery knife make cut on the planned line, having put to it equal rail (profile piece). On the other side of leaf make similar cut. The sharp movement break off gypsum cardboard on cut.
9. Put the first fragment of gypsum cardboard to framework. Fix it by means of self-tapping screws, twisting them through gypsum cardboard in profile. Continuing in the same order, sheathe all framework gypsum cardboard.
