The swing made with own hands is capable to change absolutely view of the seasonal or garden dacha. They can become the place for vacation, slow reading and reflections. And children perfectly are able to turn swing into cheerful attraction. Independent production of swing requires patience, skill, available materials, tools, and, of course, skillful hands.

- - fastening elements (bolts, nuts, self-tapping screws);
- - screw driver;
- - hacksaw;
- - metal or synthetic rope;
- - dense material for tent.
Instruction
1. Begin production of swing with the sketch. The drawing executed by hand will allow to create image of future design, to provide all parts and to determine the sizes of constituent parts. Specify the sequence of performance of separate operations that the technology scheme has gained completeness on the sketch.
2. Define the place for placement of swing. It is desirable to establish design near premises, in the place protected from wind and the scorching beams of the sun. Take care of that around swing there was sufficient free space. Clear away the chosen site, having leveled soil. It is more convenient to make assembly directly on that place where swing will be established.
3. Pick up wooden bars of the necessary length. Their section has to be 50х100 mm or even more. When choosing wood examine it to reject preparations with defects. Deformation of fibers or knots do bar unsuitable for swing.
4. Make independently or order two metal brackets of quadrangular section. On the ends provide eyes or suspended hooks; with their help to crossbeam the rope will fasten.
5. Collect the bearing part of design. Begin with the lower frame to which attach vertical bars. You proceed when mounting from the size of future seat. Its optimum length is 150-170 cm, and depth – not less than 50 cm. Make the lower frame wider than seat approximately on 40-50 cm, it will allow to achieve stability.
6. Process bars of the lower frame antiseptic structure. Especially it is important if you are going to establish swing on the open ground, but not on the concrete or tiled bed. Such protection to prevent fast rotting of wood. It is desirable to process anti-septic tank and all other wooden parts.
7. Attach vertical bars columns to frame, using metal corners and self-tapping screws. As a result you receive two big triangles. Attach horizontal bar (crossbeam) to their tops, having reliably attached bolts and nuts.
8. Make seat of two wooden frames collected from bars of the smaller size. One frame is required for seat, and the second – for back. Fasten to framework self-tapping screws veneer sheet that between back and seat there was corner exceeding 90 degrees. Connection of framework at right angle will be uncomfortable for vacationers.
9. Record metal brackets on the top crossbeam. Through openings pass rope or metal chain. Measure rope length so that the person sitting on swing socks could reach earth surface. Now finally fix seat.
10. If desired add ready swing with tent, having pulled on frame from bars dense fabric and having attached this design to upper part of swing. Now you can check own creation in operation and indulge in deserved rest.
