1. To keep future harvest, it is quite deeply necessary to plow the earth late fall. It is desirable to carry out this procedure in the mornings. Kivsyaki is loved warmly therefore will die if are on frost.
2. Kivsyaki, as we know, live in those places where moisture long enough remains. Therefore do not delay destruction of weeds and cleaning of vegetable garbage on the seasonal dacha.
3. Also pay attention to that on your site everything lay on the places. It is necessary to keep order because under ownerlessly lying things there can live these worms.
4. Do not forget to find time for loosening of top soil. Thanks to this procedure its humidity will be reduced significantly, therefore, the probability that kivsyak will do much harm to strawberry will decrease.
5. Isolation of its leaves from the surface of the soil will help to save strawberry from kivsyak also. For this purpose it is possible to lay out straw or, for example, shaving on the earth.
6. If to collect kivsyak manually, then it will help to keep strawberry harvest too. These worms lead nocturnalism therefore it is necessary to bring together them in certain time: late evening and early in the morning. In the afternoon they can be seen only in cloudy weather.
7. Before fructification of strawberry distract from it kivsyak by means of bait. For this purpose cut potatoes or carrots on pieces of the average size and spread out them on all seasonal dacha. Do not forget to check daily baits and to replace them with new.
8. To avoid emergence of kivsyak, it is necessary to water correctly berry - the soil, during maturing of strawberry, should not be rehumidified under bushes.
9. Pick the ripened berry immediately. If you have seen the struck strawberry fruits kivsyaky, then immediately remove them and throw out.
10. All chemicals which exist on sale, unfortunately, will not help with fight against this wrecker, and all because during sprinkling of kivsyaka are deeply in the earth and does not reach them poison.
