The bottom flange of facade is called socle. It reliably protects building facade from mechanical damage and pollution. At the same time, the visible part of the base has to be the good barrier preventing moisture leakage outside in the house. For finishing of socle various materials are used.
It is required to you
- - the leveling solution;
- - the grounding emulsion;
- - brick tile;
- - glue solution;
- - frost-resistant finish;
- - toothed palette;
- - tile on the basis of pitches.
Instruction
1. Prepare socle for finishing. Make sure that the surface of visible part of the base equal, strong and also is cleaned from dirt. If on socle there are roughnesses (poles and ledges) from 5 mm and more, then fill all deepenings with the leveling solution, and the acting parts to posbivayta. Impregnate surface with the grounding emulsion.
2. If as finishing material the brick tile is used, then for a start determine the level at which the first row of tiles will be located. For this purpose separate socle height into width of brick tile and correct the received result on width of intertiled seam. Apply on surface of visible part of the base and on the tile back special glue solution. The gluing means should be applied on such square which can manage to be pasted over with tile within 10-20 minutes: later this time solution will harden therefore on it already nothing will be pasted. In about two-three days fill intertiled seams with special frost-resistant solution.
3. In case facing of socle is made by tile from stone, correctly distribute this finishing material on the surface of the base. The distance between melkoformatny tiles has to make about 6 mm, and between big either 2-3 mm, or 15-20 mm. Cover the basis and the back of each tile with special glue solution: incorrectly picked up glue can become the reason of cracking of tile and its flaking.
4. When using for facing of the base of tile on the basis of pitches first of all define the top horizontal line from which the pokleyka of tile begins. Begin works on facing of the base as tile from corner (at the same time glue four rows). You apply glue by means of the special toothed palette.
