Many people doing sports and martial arts would like to have houses punching bag. In that case your trainings will not depend on campaigns to the hall – you will be able to be engaged at any convenient time, without leaving the house. But then there is question – as it is reliable to fix the massive design which is shaken from blows, at home. Fortunately, there are convenient and reliable ways to hang up punching bag.
It is required to you
- Anchor (at least 10 mm);
- The fixing platform with hook (if pear big);
Instruction
1. If pear small (weight less than 50 kg), then it is possible to fix powerful anchor bolt in ceiling, and then to screw on it hook on which pear will cling. Anchor bolts are extremely reliable, unlike dowels and fixtures similar to them. They are practically not loosened and if from long use the fastening became less reliable, then it is rather simple to tighten up a little it.
2. So, take the perforator with drill of the necessary size (depends on anchor thickness) and drill hole in ceiling. Then insert into it anchor bolt and tighten nut against the stop. Make sure that the anchor reliably keeps and does not "go" in opening, as necessary tighten nut still. Everything, fastening is ready, it was necessary only to screw hook on thread of anchor and it is possible to hang up pear.
3. For fastening of heavy punching bags there are special platforms which need to be fixed by four anchor bolts. They are on sale in sporting goods stores, is frequent complete with pear. The platform represents square steel sheet about 20х20 cm, with openings for fastening on corners and hook for the pear suspender in the middle.
4. To fix it, at first it should be noted on place ceiling for drilling of openings. Attach the platform to ceiling and note the necessary points pencil. Then the perforator drill on opening marks for anchor bolts.
5. Further attach the platform to ceiling again, and combine openings for fixture with the drilled holes on ceiling. Now you can insert and fix anchor. It is the best of all to insert at first one and to tighten slightly that did not drop out, and then also to fix the second, on opposite coal of the platform. After that it will keep on ceiling and not to fall, and you will be able easily to insert the remained two anchor bolts and in turn to tighten them all. Before hanging up pear, make sure that all bolts are tightened and fastening keeps reliably.
6. If you do not want to spoil exterior of ceiling, then it is possible to hang up pear on metal beam in corridor. For this purpose you need to fix beam at height, convenient for you. It is the best of all to fix too on anchor bolts as in use pears other types of fastenings can be loosened and drop out.
