Phalaenopsis belongs to one of those rare species of plants which blossom long, magnificently and do not demand at the same time titanic efforts from flower growers for growth creating favorable conditions. Variety of paints and forms of refined flowers can enjoy practically at any time.
1. Learn how many years to your phalaenopsis. Usually this type of orchid becomes ready to blossoming aged from 1.5 up to 3 years, depending on conditions of keeping. Count quantity of leaves on plant. Phalaenopsis, capable of blossoming, has to have not less than 5 - 8 adult escapes. If the plant blossoms earlier, forces for restoration can not be enough, and the flower will wither.
2. Pay special attention to horses of phalaenopsis. They participate in photosynthesis process therefore light access is necessary for them. Instead of pots from clay or plastic with rough surface it is better to use transparent plastic with smooth walls. Roots at this plant are very sensitive, have property to grow to any rough material therefore contact with sandpaper surfaces them will be injured, causing damage to health of plant and its ability to blossom.
3. Move phalaenopsis as little as possible. Plants do not love change therefore try to water flower, without getting moving forward pot. With change of situation also the party turned to the sun that adversely affects growth especially changes when phalaenopsis had had peduncle. If necessary to move plant, make on pot small mark marker and be guided by it, again establishing orchid on windowsill by the same party to the sun, as before.
4. Provide to plant night temperature drop. The difference between day and night air has to make about 5 - 7 degrees: then at orchid flower kidneys are stuffed up. It is possible to put flower at open window in the summer. Continuous inflow of fresh air will strengthen forces of plant and will prevent various diseases.
5. Arrange to phalaenopsis small "stress". The plant can not give flowers even if all conditions of keeping are satisfied, and are more true too well executed. Then forces of plant can go to growth. There are several ways to stimulate blossoming. It can be temporary reduction of watering or transfer of pot to more cool place. In spite of the fact that phalaenopsis belongs to those orchids which love heat, the fall of temperature up to 15 degrees more adult will quietly transfer plant.
