Dragon tree – perennial plant from family dratsenovy, under natural conditions meeting in Africa, Asia and Central America. Because of the elegant look this plant is often used for decoration of premises and offices.

Instruction
1. The dragon tree which is grown up from top shank represents plant with long trunk and bunch brightly painted, narrow, as at many monocotyledonous plants, leaves. Some flower growers prefer to form dragon tree in several trunks. In order that to make it, cut off upper part of plant so that on trunk there were four leaves. It is the best of all to do it in the spring.
2. Powder cut with wood charcoal and rearrange plant to the pritenenny warm place. Kidneys on the cut-off dragon tree sprout better if to cover plant with plastic bag or glass jar. It is necessary to water dragon tree with which cut off almost all leaves less, than normal plant. The dragon tree transfers much better lack of moisture, than its surplus from which at plant roots begin to rot.
3. Sometimes at rejuvenescence from dragon tree cut off top together with all leaves. In this case young escapes will actively sprout if to wrap stump in the tissue or fabric moistened with warm water, and from above to put on small plastic bag. Wet towel wipes at such way of cultivation of new escapes should be changed every day.
4. New escapes will sprout on the cut-off plant, approximately, in month. If has sprouted too many kidneys, cut off part of escapes. They can be implanted in water with addition of wood charcoal. Rearrange dragon tree in more lit place, avoiding direct sunshine. Spray young escapes with otstoyanny water and wipe leaves with damp fabric.
5. The sprouts of dragon tree which have grown from side kidneys are usually extended up. If you want to create more branched krone, insert the wooden or plastic ball wound by several layers of fabric between young escapes.
6. If you need to create even more branched krone, next spring in the same way cut off tops at young escapes.
