1. Even if at you full order is kept in cabinets, bugs all the same can lodge in flour and grain. They can be brought easily to the house with already infected grain. First of all it is necessary to take all packages and containers with grain and to examine attentively. At detection of insects the infected flour or grain should be thrown out immediately. Many try to keep the stocks, having calcinated them in frying pan or having sifted through sieve. It is not exit as small larvae pass through sieve and remain in flour where further begin to develop. Besides, there is opportunity to be infected with unpleasant infections therefore you should not feel sorry for them – you will safely throw out.
2. Pour hot water in basin and properly wash all cabinets with application of vinegar, domestos or other disinfectant. Repeat this procedure several times, thus, you will be able to destroy all insects. Pour not infected flour and other grain into new dense packages and remove for few weeks to the cold place – the fridge or balcony. After this time open bags and make sure of lack of flour bugs. Now it is possible to pour flour into other, more reliable container with lid.
3. If you store flour from made of cloth bags, it will not prevent them to gnaw through fabric and to get into favourite delicacy. But if you process such bag strong solution of table salt in advance, it will become inaccessible for gluttonous bugs. For scaring away of insects put in package of flour several cloves of the peeled garlic, and in grain – small sacks with salt.
4. For weevil and other wreckers of krupyany products prepare the following mix: take and mix in equal proportions icing sugar, to drill and the millet crushed on the coffee grinder. Roll the received mix in small balls and decompose on all corners in buffet. It should be taken into account that insects will die not at once therefore do such fertilizing several times.
5. For prevention of flour bugs spread out in cabinet for grain laurel leaves or pieces of lemon, their pungent smell will help to frighten off these harmful insects. Also the adhesive plaster or adhesive tape with the double sticky party pasted on cabinet inside on which it is necessary to fill nutmeg will help.
