Rubber glue is applied to pasting of rubber, cardboard, leather and leatherettes, chipboard, tree, the synthetic film coverings which are made foam by PVC. There are types of rubber glue, different in structure, which differ in the connection durability, drying time, durability.
Instruction
1. Clean adherend surfaces from dirt and dust. For increase in durability of pasting firm surfaces to zashkurta abrasive paper. With the same purpose degrease surfaces by means of gasoline or acetone, dry within 15 minutes.
2. Irrespective of glue storage conditions, before application stand him within 48 hours at temperature about 23 - 25 degrees.
3. If this glue is produced in banks, but not in tuba, carefully mix it before application.
4. Apply adhesive layer on both surfaces, pay special attention to edges. Sustain, without sticking together, in the open air within 15-60 minutes (depending on type of glue).
5. If you stick together cellular materials (leather, microporous rubber), put two adhesive layers: put the second layer in 15-20 minutes after drawing the first, and sustain the second layer within 30-60 minutes. Need of drawing the second layer is caused by high absorbency of porous surfaces.
6. Some types of rubber glue after drying are required to be heated the heating device with the closed spiral within 15 minutes.
7. Connect surfaces and take them under press several minutes. Connect parts accurately and precisely as after pasting of product the correction will be almost impossible. When pasting surfaces of the big square press them from the center to edges, so you will avoid air congestion between adherend surfaces. Pressure force on adherend surfaces has to be not less than 3 kg on 1 square centimeter.
8. After full drying remove surplus of glue.
