Instruction
1. Grind stone by burnishing of the squared surface. This work has to remove marks which were left by tools when dressing. Soft breed – tufa, svezhevylomanny sandstones grind iron or steel scrapers or graters which are inserted into special wooden frame. Process strong breeds the firm stones which are also inserted into mandrels.
2. Pour fine quartz sand and add water not to allow heating of stone and generation of dust which will not add to you health if to inhale it. Now grinding bars do both of sandpaper, and of carborundum. Begin work as more rough large grinding material, and finish more fine-grained and gentle.
3. Process concave and convex surfaces of natural stone the bar having suitable profile. Further processing is necessary only to dense stone, with small amount of time. The most part of sandstones, tufa, rough limestones cannot be polished therefore remain opaque.
4. Further work with the pig-iron or iron iron, the rotating pig-iron disk. Then change this tool for the wooden circle which is pasted over with felt, bass, flannel, leather. The polishing powder at the same time is used different – sandpaper, pumice, kieselguhr.
5. Make mastic which is required to you for further work. It consists of garpius or stearin, turpentine, dye of shade of your stone. Warm up surface coals, fill mastic and carry out by the hot iron, remove surplus of putty.
6.
